There are many great reasons to support local food and celebrate seasonal vegetables in the great state of Pennsylvania. All of us at the PVMRP could personally go on for days with ideas. In July of 2019, we thought it’d be better to tap into a few external sources in search of fresh ideas for supporting local. So, we set out on a PA Veggies Road Trip, connecting with managers of various operations in the local food supply chain, from Easton in the Lehigh Valley to Bellevue on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, and even the Farm Show Complex in Pennsylvania’s capital, Harrisburg!
